AYEF join young girl in the celebration of MHM Day

I Bleed with PRIDE and DIGNITY Not every young girl is prepared for the beginning and continuous process of menstruation, and they often experience high levels of shame and embarrassment due to limited knowledge and inadequate means of managing their menstruation. Noting that Poor menstrual hygiene can pose health risks such as urinary or reproductive tract infections, the celebration of MHM Day is not just about the menstruation but also involves, ensuring that the reproductive health and rights of all women, girls are fully protected and respected. Every young girl deserves a Menstrual Hygiene Management (MHM) education that empowers her to fully participate in society and live a healthy, self-determined life free of taboos embarrassment and limitations. Today through our "GenZ Health Tori" program, AYEF commemorates the #MHDay24 and #International Women's Health Day by educating young girls on Menstrual Hygiene Management and Sexual Health Management. We join voices with other activists and advocates around the globe to build a #PeriodFriendlyWorld. We say a very big Thank you to our Facilitators Miss Shalom Membielah and Miss Kanlodi Sonia
